Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Candidate Key Performance Outputs

Responsible for accurate receiving, binning, picking and packing of stock items.
Reporting of stock irregularities and possible problems. (Incorrect quantities, incorrect stock items, damaged stock, incorrectly bar-coded stock items etc.).
Picks goods off shelves from the picking list or scanner against customer orders or product specifications.
Responsible for packing goods onto shelves.
Checks picked orders against documentation and or scanner.
Packs items into cartons, etc., and ensures label documentation is correct.
In exceptional circumstances/on rare occasions, might be required to operate forklifts, and other MHE machinery, only if in possession of a valid license.
Housekeeping and maintaining of safe working conditions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements and that all activities in the area of responsibility are compliant with company specific regulations.

Check and clear customers’ orders for delivery.
Assist with deliveries as and when required.
Prepare orders that are for customer collections.
Cash-up processes.
Ensure load accuracy at check-out and check-in by physical checking of stock.
Examine products and packaging, for damages or defects.
Participate in stock counts as and when required.
Give ideas on operational improvements and participate in all engagement activities.
Record any breakages by staff members on breakage register and obtain staff signatures.
Maintain security standards and enforce all relevant departmental policies and procedures.
Report any performance and disciplinary issues to relevant departmental managers.
Assist with the facilitation of the Loading function of company vehicles after order have been checked and cleared.
