Candidate Key Performance Outputs

• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Investigate alarms or disturbances and act accordingly
• Write reports on property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Call for assistance from police or fire departments in case of emergency
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas

Candidate Requirements/Experience

• Grade 12
• Relevant qualification
• 3years working experience
• Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
