Candidate Key Performance Outputs

• Perform any general duties and/or work allocated by a Foreman without direct supervision.
• Carry out tasks in the plant, workshop or at any other facilities during production / operation processes without direct supervision.
• Applies preventative, predictive, and reactive tasks according to IWC standards and procedures
• Reporting of all equipment / plant deviations
• Plan work and solve problems
• Housekeeping
• Ad hoc duties – as requested by any senior employee

Candidate Requirements/Experience

• Grade 12
• 2 years’ mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial / chemical plant maintenance environment
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanical and electrical industrial plant knowledge
• Work Shifts and overtime where required
• Good understanding of basic mechanical engineering
