Hotel Housekeeper and General Cleaner

Candidate Key Performance Outputs

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities

• Ensure all common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and elevators, are clean and presentable

• Assist in the cleaning and preparation of guest rooms for new arrivals and departures

• Handle and report any lost and found items

• Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints

• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely service to guests
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements/Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and products
