Warehouse General Assistant

Candidate Key Performance Outputs

• Housekeeping of yard and all equipment.
• Store all equipment safely in the yard.
• Remove equipment from other companies stored in the warehouse and prepare it for return.
• Follow instructions from Operations Management to meet or exceed accuracy and productivity goals.
• Safely operate heavy equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts to avoid injuries or damage.
• Count all equipment daily to keep track of stock.
• Make sure the required equipment is always available so that work is not delayed.
• Check all equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good condition.
• Protect company equipment and make sure it is secure.
• Always maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Complete any other tasks related to equipment as assigned by Operations.

Candidate Requirements/Experience

• Matric
• Good command of English
• Must be able to work in a team
• Clear criminal record
• Warehouse experience will be advantageous
