Candidate Key Performance Outputs

  • Responsible for preparation and processing of the monthly payroll input
  • Responsible for preparation and processing of the monthly contracts on the SAGE 300 people payroll system
  • Review and ensure accuracy of approved of all supporting documents
  • Maintain a proper document control system
  • Approval of ESS Leave applications and ensuring that the supporting documents are valid and accurate
  • Ensure all payroll and HR deadlines are met for salaries to be paid on time, i.e., Contracts, Payroll Input (Email and sheet), etc.
  • Responsible for preparation and processing of the probation documents
  • Ensure that all disciplinary actions are captured and updated on the HR filing system.
  • Assist the IR Manager with adhoc related duties from time to time
  • Update and maintaining personnel files
  • To assist with any adhoc related duties from time to time within the HR Department

Candidate Requirements/Experience

  • Grade 12
  • Appropriate Payroll Qualification
  • Valid Unendorsed Code EB Driver’s License
  • MS Office (especially Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • 2 years in a junior payroll & HR position
  • Knowledge of SAGE People 300 and ESS
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Good writing, documenting and communication Skills in English
  • Organized and detail orientated
  • High level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Good time management skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance
