Candidate Key Performance Outputs

• Maintain, service, and repair the company’s fleet of heavy-duty vehicles, including engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
• Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues effectively
• Compile detailed service reports for each vehicle, documenting maintenance, repairs, and parts use
• Communicate effectively with management regarding vehicle servicing schedules, ongoing maintenance, and any critical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities

Candidate Requirements/Experience

• Trade Certificate
• Drivers’ Licence Code EC / EC1 
• Red Seal Diesel Mechanic Certification highly recommended
• OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Certification will be advantageous
• 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Computer literacy (for e-mail and reporting purposes)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Proficiency with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
