Candidate Key Performance Outputs

• Manage and dispatch drivers according to operational needs and customer requirements.
• Maintain communication with drivers to provide updates, instructions, and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage.
• Keep accurate records of driver hours, mileage, and trip details.
• Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during transit, providing immediate solutions.
• Review and process delivery documents, logs, and reports.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise route planning and load assignments.
• Assist in training, and evaluating drivers to maintain a high-performing team.

Candidate Requirements/Experience

• Grade 12.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the trucking or logistics industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in using dispatch and fleet management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
