Candidate Key Performance Outputs
- Daily capturing and monitoring of fuel usage and fuel levels.
- Analyzing captured fuel data and completing all the various fuel reports
- Trace and track vehicles.
- Monitoring driver whereabouts.
- Updating drivers on collections and deliveries.
- Ensuring clients and drivers stay updated during the day.
- Log all vehicle breakdowns – Trucks, trailers and tyres.
- Services bookings on all trucks and pool cars.
- Monitoring licenses and logbooks.
- Processing of all quotes received and getting approval.
- Assist the branches with their vehicle issues and concerns.
- Updating the fleet list and handling all related tasks when vehicles change internal ownership.
- Invoicing all 3rd party loads and following up on payments from 3rd party clients.
- Log insurance claims – new claims and following up on existing claims.
- Issuing and control of PPE to all the departments and the branches.
- Monthly capturing of the department’s credit card statements.
Candidate Requirements/Experience
- Grade 12.
- A tertiary qualification in supply chain management or logistics is advantageous.
- Computer literate on MS Office – Advanced Excel is non-negotiable.
- Experience in the same or similar role is essential – it is a fast-paced environment.
- Numeric competency is essential and a working knowledge of basic accounting.
