Candidate Key Performance Outputs

  • Liaise with clients in the assigned portfolio.
  • Process cashbook and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee creditor processing and reconciliations.
  • Process month-end journal entries.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including acquisitions, disposals, and annual depreciation.
  • Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliation.
  • Prepare management accounts.
  • Administer the full UK payroll function.
  • Update the internal workflow management system.
  • Assist with other finance-related tasks as requested.

 

Candidate Requirements/Experience

  • Diploma or degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Xero and Sage Business Online.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, with Simple Pay preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients.
